The goal of the Foundation is to increase the permanent endowment to $1 million. Already earnings have enabled the Foundation to fund college scholarships and to make grants to local charities serving Lakewood’s greatest needs. The Lakewood Community Foundation Fund (LCFF) is currently a $800,000 dollar endowment raised by citizens and businesses in Lakewood desiring to keep Lakewood a wonderful community in which to live work and play. The fund allows us a way to give back to our community for the exceptional opportunities and quality of life Lakewood provides. The needs of the most unfortunate among us are great and at times, overpowering. We can to make a difference in the lives of our fellow citizens through the Foundation.
